DOW is taking part in the ASEAN Manufacturing Summit : Creating a Circular Economy for Plastics, a virtual event scheduled on December 3, 2020 from 1:30 – 5:40 pm (GMT+8). Organized by Ringier Events, this virtual summit serves as a gathering of representatives of major global companies and Southeast Asian plastics manufacturers to discuss how the plastics industry has been innovating to achieve a circular economy on plastics.
The circular economy model is expected to redefine the future of the plastics industry. With the right technologies and materials, the plastics industry can play a major role in eliminating plastic waste through proper use, reuse and recycling to extend the life of the plastic products and protect the environment.
At the ASEAN Manufacturing Summit : Creating a Circular Economy for Plastics, DOW representative, Ms. Eunice Ch’ng, the Asia Pacific Senior Marketing Manager for Industrial & Consumer Packaging, will discuss DOW’s latest sustainability efforts in Asia – with the launch of the first Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) Resin, and the incorporation of bio-based Polyethylene in industrial packaging application through collaboration with its customer.
Ms. Eunice Ch’ng is the Asia Pacific Senior Marketing Manager for Industrial & Consumer Packaging, DOW. Currently based in Singapore, Eunice leads the market segment to implement growth strategies for the business in APAC. She sits in Global Industrial Packaging Marketing Steering Team, together with representatives from other regions, drives visionary directions for the market segment.
