The International Conference on Masterbatch and Polymer Compounds is the only international conference of the region in Iran that is held every year by the Iran Masterbatch and Compound Producers Association (IMCPA) of Iran focusing on the vision of the masterbatch and compound industry and the challenges ahead in Iran and the world.
According to the public relations office of the Association, the Association holds the 4th International Conference on Masterbatch and Polymer Compounds in Feb. 2019 here in Tehran.
This edition of the conference focuses on:
- The prospects for the masterbatch and compounding industry and the challenges ahead
- Global and regional trends of supply and demand for masterbatch and polymer composites
- Basic ingredients and additives of masterbatch industry and polymer compounds
- New masterbatches and polymer compounds – introducing new products
- New technologies, machines and control systems for the production of masterbatches and polymer composites
- Providing the latest research achievements in the field of compounding
- Recycling and environment
The venue will be held on Feb. 18-19th 2019 at the IRIB conference complex. Interested parties to attend this conference can contact the Secretariat of the Iran Masterbatch and Compound Producers Association for more information.
During the 3rd conference of the same type and same visions, presentations, lectures, and workshops covered topics like “Physical-mechanical properties of polymer compounds, Processes, Nanotechnology Challenge, Powder Additives in Compounding, Masterbatch and Compounding and Market Studies “.
In particular, the section dealing with the challenge of nanotechnology was highly regarded by the audience and participants, and although it can be said that all of the topics in all sectors were well received, and the section received more attention from others.
In the workshop area, Stefano Bentra from CT System organized a workshop on “Material Transfer in Compounding (Carbon Black). Holding such a workshop has been widely reported by the specialty media in Iran.
